My name is Lyn Spiteri. I'm not perfect... but I'm still pretty fabulous most of the time.
Music
is a fundamental facet of my personality; I listen with appreciation,
play with wonderment and teach the next generation of budding musicians
with gratitude. I
love film, TV and literature; something to fall in love with, to be
inspired by -- a film, show or story that truly moves me. I laugh (and
cry) with my favourite characters and adore the complete enthrallment
that overtakes me when I discover something new to obsess over.
I dearly love to laugh and throw funny back at others. I like to help people when I can (listening is totes my superpower) and marvel at the regenerative power of being around my amazing family and friends. I don't like so much that life can be very rough, that baddies in popular culture are sometimes friendlier than their real-life-counterparts and that so many seemingly Happy Chappy folks face daily battles that are almost entirely internalised.
I started this blog as a creative outlet, promotion for my Etsy shop (please buy stuff) and a way to document my journey through life. Also, mostly, because I thought it might be a smidge more practical than tattooing my every whim on my forehead (less painful too, I suspect). Trying to live life day to day with grace, mindfulness and gratitude.
